A Few Points on Mike Bloomberg
- I came across a fantastic article on Guest of a Guest called “Why Bloomberg Should Be Our President“. As I read the post and scrolled to the bottom, preparing to post my affirmative digital signature on the matter, I found that someone had already posted Unite For Mike in the comments - Awesome. This is a fantastic way to spread the citizens draft movement. If I could recommend one thing (and this is bizarre for someone currently writing under pseudonym to say), however, it would be to write your name in the box, and proudly affirm that you are indeed a citizen, personally interested in Mike Bloomberg entering the Presidential race.
- As it turns out, the fiscally sound Mayor, responsible for a 3.9 billion dollar surplus is also meritocratic. As New York City schools have improved, teachers have received 43 percent raises over the last 6 years. The mayor has also given his closest aides, people responsible for making remarkable improvements to the city of New York, raises as well. It is very interesting, it almost seems like Mike Bloomberg rewards his people for excellence; is America ready for a leader like that?
