Help us hit 500 petition signatures by the week end!
We here at Unite for Mike are looking at a milestone this week - just before the end of 2007, we are looking to achieve 500 signatures for drafting Mike Bloomberg for President. While all of the candidates are stumping in Iowa, we are building the case that Mayor Bloomberg is the right candidate for America, not the same-old, same-old.
From the Democrats, Senator Obama touts “change”, Senator Clinton touts “experience”, former Senator Edwards touts “compassion” - but all of these candidates are cut from the same cloth, right out of the Washington, DC beltway.
From the Republicans, we hear former Mayor Guliani touting his “management in 9/11″, Senator McCain touting his “foreign policy experience” and former Gov. Romney touting…heck, I can not even figure out what he is saying. But, what are we really getting from these candidates? More of the same?
Michael Bloomberg is my vote for real change in government. When Mayor Bloomberg first arrived in the New York Mayor’s Office, he changed the typical operating procedure and brought about real management practices to government.
He brought stability to the world’s 19th largest economy (when NY is compared to real countries) during the years following 9/11. And, from his own website, he shows how he has worked to improve schools, reform health care, and keep illegal guns off of our streets.
So, join us and show America how we can rise up and unite for Mike Bloomberg for President of these United States. Sign the petition and ask your friends. If you are tired of the same-old, same old - and want a candidate who can bring the best of business and politics to America’s future, then Mayor Bloomberg should be your candidate.

pleeeeze mayor mike, get us term limits at the state level in NY, don’t waste your time and money on a doomed pres. run, these people are nuts. you actually can accomplish the greatest good in ny by limiting state pols to 2 terms like the nyc council. make ny a democracy again. no political dynasties, no lifetime sinecures. you have an idea? want to bring it to the people? want to serve? great, two terms and have a nice life.
even better, get ny proportional representation, then you’ll see democracy in action. pleeze, you have the resources, and there’s an army of voters ready to assist you. just make the investment to get it going. set my people free; let my people go.
