Ross Who? Why People Seek to Stereotype Mike Bloomberg

Pundits, journalists and citizen reporters have a bizarre obsession with comparing Mike Bloomberg to Ross Perot. As we have written before, we don’t think this comparison makes sense for three fundamental reasons: experience, ideology and choice of running mate.
All major party presidential bids are the same, whereas every independent bid is unique for its own set of reasons. We see the UniteForMike campaign as being in same tradition as Abe Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt, not Ross Perot.
- Lincoln lead a fledgling Republican party to victory over an entrenched establishment unwilling to change their ways (in that day the ill was slavery, today it’s unyielding partisanism).
- Roosevelt was a constant proponent of bureaucracy (civil service) reform who after being elected once as a Republican, created and ran for President as a Progressive because he believed in change.
Both of these Presidents were keen managers, exceptional leaders, and advocated for issues that no party bosses were willing to stand for. Mr. Bloomberg, We the People want change - don’t ignore it.
Show you support for change by signing this petition and passing it along - we can’t afford an opportunity like this to pass us by.

Andrew, I will give you a slogan
Mike is of by and for the times.
He is the best and we need him as President. Please tell him that. My daughter was at a dinner with him recently. Ask him if he renmembers a beautiful young lady who told him her father would love if he would run for president. I will give time and money work full time for Mike.
