A Three Part Winning Strategy For Mike Bloomberg

The mainstream media continues to be all over the map when it comes to Mike Bloomberg. Alternately there are reports that: “He is all but running,” “He wont run,” “He is not a candidate,” “He may be a independent candidate,” or even a “Independent candidate,” “He may be a Unity08 candidate,” and “Draft Bloomberg 2008 team is unrelenting”. All of that is to say; what do these people really know about the intentions of Mike Bloomberg let alone his strategy for winning the Whitehouse?

There are three key components of the Mike Bloomberg strategy to run for President.

Partisan Bickering. No presidential candidate wants Mike Bloomberg in the race, because of his broad appeal to moderates. As we approach Super Tuesday, however, the mud slinging is going to crescendo. Post-primaries we know the kind of dialog that we can expect from the Democratic and Republican parties, “My side is completely right, your side is completely wrong”. This leads an election where only half of America participates. We the People will be looking for an alternative in 2008.
Deny Deny Deny. One thing that the DNC and RNC can agree on is that they don’t want real change. They run Washington D.C. and it works for them. The moment Mike Bloomberg enters the race, he will be the target of an assault by the united front of the status quo. Why would Mike announce only to be attacked by everyone, when after Super Tuesday he can simply bypass criticism from candidates that will inevitably drop out? Timing is everything.
Endorsements. As I’ve said before, Mike Bloomberg represents a rallying flag for people disgusted with politics as usual, but he will need your help. Mike must pick up endorsements by many of the politicians attending the January 7th, Oklahoma University event. Mike must also gain the support of people willing stand up and demand change. We the people must endorse Mike Bloomberg by signing the petition!
