Powerful, if not hilarious words delivered by Mark White, Former Governor of Texas, provide insight as to why Mike Bloomberg would make such a great President. We are fed up with electing people who can’t get the job done.
Each and everyone of these elected officials in Oklahoma came to make a statement, that politics as usual don’t work. In an environment where partisan affiliation trumps good policy - how can we possibly move forward?
Every two and four years we have to opportunity to set the tone of the debate in Washington. If you want the tone to be both free from the rhetoric of partisanship and result oriented, then sign the petition to Draft Mike Bloomberg for President.
Today’s session concluded with a demand to the current presidential candidates;
You must ask the candidates if they plan to create a bipartisan cabinet and administration. We must ask the candidates to present a strategy for a unified consensus. We must ask the candidates for their strategies to build a more positive relationship with the rest of the world. We leave as we came: filled with hope for our future and with determination to keep this country great.
To me it sounded like an “or else” was on the end of that statement. Then, Senator David Boren said to the Media and People: “Help us put the questions we have raised directly to the candidates.”
