Most Democrats and Republicans that I see like Mike Bloomberg’s policies. Dems, however, feel that its their party’s turn to rule, and that no-one better get in their way. Republicans seem to be a little more disenchanted with their candidates, and open to the possibility. Mike Bloomberg does offer a very compelling version of centrism that will go far with the American people.
I agree we need to involve both parties in the solutions to the challenges and opportunities of the United States. Recently the 9/11 Commission and the Iraq Study Group presented bipartisan recommendations on two of our most challenging issues. The current administration and Congress have ignored these monumental and objective efforts. Previously other bi-partisan commissions have reported on solutions to the Social Security and Medicare challenges and were ignored. Your group should first direct their effort at influencing the current administration and Congress before dealing with potential candidates for Presidents. By doing this, 2008 could potential be a turning point in American history. Why wait for the next President?

Can someone please post a transcript of what was said?
I’m one of those many people behind a standard Fortune 500 corporate firewall that doesn’t allow streaming video. I really want to know what was said!
