Sunday Night From the Bi-Partisan Panel in Norman, Oklahoma
Nothing much to report here. I arrived in Norman Oklahoma a bit late (thanks to Continental airlines losing my luggage), but still in time to meet a few first class reporters on the Bloomberg beat. They were standing outside of David Boren’s house eagerly chatting about the subtleties and implications of Mike Bloomberg’s appearance at such a well publicized panel on Bi-partisan.
First among these, is the ever intrepid Azi. His dogged determination to get the story was impressive to say the least. I also met Grace Rauh of the New York Sun, who noted Mike Bloomberg brought bipartisan spirit and three Junior’s cheesecakes. Martin Kady at Politico has a great photo of Mike in a Sweatshirt, but otherwise is unconvinced that this meeting is about launching a third party. Finally, Nick Confessore highlights that tis event was organized by Democrats, which is more proof that Mike is a Dem? We think not.
