Reaction To The NYTimes, Politico and The Obama Factor.
Everyday the Draft Mike Bloomberg movement grows. More people are signing the petition, more people are sending emails to jointheteam@uniteformike.com asking how they can get involved, more people are starting Meetups to lead the local movement for change, but millions more are becoming increasingly frustrated by the lack of government progress caused by extreme partisan bickering.
Here at the Draft Mike Bloomberg for President movement, we know that the solution to partisan bickering, is not more partisan bickering. We think the solution is to focus on the results, instead of focusing on the origins of the ideas themselves. No-one currently running for President has a record of personal, professional or public results comparable to Mike Bloomberg.
Here at the Draft Mike Bloomberg for President movement, we know that to manage the 13 trillion dollar enterprise that is the United States of America, you need management experience. No-one currently running for President, has that experience or truly embodies the entrepreneurial spirit that has made our nation prosperous. Mike Bloomberg came from modest origins, and made himself a billionaire by the virtues of thrift and hard work.
Finally, Mike Bloomberg is registered as an unaffiliated voter. He has made his political appointments and decisions based on their merit, not their party loyalty. No-one currently running for President has demonstrated their willingness to pursue talent and ability above allegiance to political party.
Raymond Hernandez and Nicholas Confessore of the NYTimes, as well as Martin Kady II of Politico may not believe that there is any room for Mike Bloomberg in this Presidential contest if Obama wins the Democratic nod. What they fail to see, is that the problems that America faces are larger than the Democratic or Republican parties. We need to Unite For Mike, because true change comes from working together toward a common purpose.

He really may be the best person to be President, BUT he’ll never win. He’ll be another Perot and give the Presidency to the Dems. I don’t doubt he loves America. The best he can do for all of us is to support the Rep. candidate, get heavily involved in R party, change it to what most of us want and run then. PLEASE!!! don’t let Obama/Hillary become a default Pres. like Bill C was. PLEASE!!! Respectfully, Bob

Bloomberg running is a cautionary note to the extremes in BOTH parties. Hopefully (very likley IMHO) the Bloomie prospect might just nudge the 2 parties to the center a tad so we get McCain vs. Obama. if that is the case Bloomies Role might best be served as a Veep to one of those. I can envision McCain/Lieberman vs. Obama/Bloomie REAL easily. If that happens Centrist Rational Bipartisanship wins!! An we have a chance at getting our country back form the fringe activist pandering bases in BOTH parties!! Run Bloomie Run!!
