Mark Cuban Wants Mike Bloomberg to Run

Mark Cuban can’t seem to find a Presidential candidate that can deliver on the results. He says,

“Unfortunately , they are all winging it. i have no question that they have every
detail about how to spend their campaign contributions on advertising planned out. I have yet to see details on how they plan to accomplish all their great promises they are making to voters. That scares me.”

His thoughts on John McCain:

“I actually started to get a little bit excited about McCain. Then he went on the warpath to “mend his riff” with the Republican Party. I can only speak for myself, but the fact that he had a “riff” with the Republicans is exactly why i started to get excited about him. No, he hadn’t presented any more details on his plans than any other candidate, but there was a glimmer of hope that he was a candidate that thought for himself.”

He refrains from fully endorsing Mike Bloomberg, but

“Are you listening Mayor Bloomberg ? For less than the cost of opening a tent pole movie, you can change the status quo . I’m not saying that I’m going to vote for you yet. As I said above, the devil is in the details. But, I’m betting that unlike the current choices, you recognize the difference between politics and results.”

We have sent Mark Cuban a note and asked him to sign the petition. Hat tip to Bradley Coleman.

Who Will Draft Bloomberg?

Our purpose here is to draft Mike Bloomberg to run for President of the United States. Bloomberg, Obama, McCain, ClintonWe feel that as an experienced no-nonsense candidate that cannot be bought, America could benefit tremendously from his leadership.

Now that Super Duper Tuesday has come and gone, we still have a topsy-turvy race that promises to keep Americans on the edge of their political seats. Some think that since McCain is destined to be the GOP candidate, Bloomberg will lose his voter base. The article goes so far as to imply that Bloomberg could be McCain’s running mate. More such speculation abounds about a VP meeting between Bloomberg and Obama back in April of 2007.

There are obviously enough nation busting issues out there whose resolution warrants a hard look at Michael Bloomberg in the inner circle. So, will the draft Bloomberg movement, the Dems, or the GOP successfully draft Mike Bloomberg?

Super Tuesday–Little Did We Know

Michael Bloomberg If you had asked most people what they expected out of Super Tuesday, they would most likely have answered: “I expect to see who is going to be a front-runner in the democratic party, Hillary or Obama” or they might have said: “I think we’ll find out if McCain is for real and whether or not Huckabee or Romney can pull an upset.” But what you wouldn’t have heard from anyone, even most Bloomberg supporters, is that they expected to find out that there are a lot of people who support a Mike Bloomberg candidacy–that know about Mike and really want him to run.

Who would think that on the biggest and possibly the most important day for Democratic and Republican nominee hopefuls, that we might find people interested to learn more about and voice their support for a candidate that isn’t even a real candidate yet–for a person who hasn’t even thrown his hat in the ring? But this is exactly what DC Mike Bloomberg supporters, who took time out of their busy day to hand out flyers in support of a Mike Bloomberg presidential bid, would find out.

Standing in the middle of Farragut Square, in Washington DC, the group of Mike Bloomberg supporters that had assembled to hand out flyers as an “alternative choice” for people to consider, wondered, on a day when the major Democratic and Republican front runners were clogging up the pipeline of American Media, if anyone would even care? The funny thing though, is that they weren’t concerned with whether or not people would care–they believed in what they were doing, they believed in providing the American public with an alternative choice to consider, and they believed in Mike Bloomberg–and that was enough for them.

So, they embarked on their Journey, to the entrance of the Farragut North metro stop, in Washington, DC. Once there, they pulled out their flyers to hand out to the unsuspecting everyday businessman and businesswoman on their way home from work; flyers that would educate people about Mike Bloomberg, why he is the best candidate for President of the United States of America, and how they as citizens can support the Draft Mike Bloomberg efforts.

As they began handing out the flyers everything seemed to be happening as expected, some people took the flyers, some walked by and waved their hand. But a few minutes into their endeavor something strange began to happen, the people who were raising their hand, started to stop, drop their hand, and pause–this would happen once they heard the rally cry coming from the Mike Bloomberg supporters who were flyering–”Mike Bloomberg for President.”

Suddenly, the endeavor these individuals had set out on, to educate people about Mike Bloomberg, became a whole new type of experience. Suddenly, it was not the American public being educated, it was the Mike Bloomberg supporters.

“Mike Bloomberg did you say? I’ve heard a lot about him, I hope he runs.”

“Who is that you are campaigning for? Oh, Mike Bloomberg, I’ve heard that he might enter the race, I’d like to know more about him, but from what I know he seems like a solid candidate.”

“Mike Bloomberg? Do you really think he’s going to run, I sure hope he does.”

“The Mayor of New York City? I used to live in New York and if he can do what he has done for NYC, I would vote for him in a heartbeat.”

“Mike Bloomberg for President huh? Well I sure hope you guys can convince him to run–he’s surely a better choice than what we have now!”

“Flyer? I don’t need a flyer to tell me what I already know, I’m going to vote for Mike Bloomberg regardless–he’s a no-bull type of guy, and I like that.”

And there it was, the light that they had never expected to see, right in front of them–People know about Mike Bloomberg, people support what Mike Bloomberg stands for, People like Mike Bloomberg, People want Mike Bloomberg to run for President of the United States of America.

So the question is–what do we have to do to make Mike realize this, to make him realize that we need him to run for President?

Support the Draft Mike Bloomberg effort, sign the petition today!
